Aurigids

Even though it was already twilight where I live at 1045 UT this morning, I went outside and looked up near Aurigid and was fortunate to see two of the most brilliant meteors that I have ever seen. The second one was visible even when I was barely able to still see the stars in the sky. The best one I saw was very brief but incredibly wide and bright, and I viewed it while walking to my observation point. I am really looking forward to seeing what the observers in the Pacific Coast where able to capture!
